I bumped into this video after having done a few of these myself. It's so beautiful how the image almost paints itself in, it feels so fluid and natural.
It's interesting to note how as the number of iterations is increased, the overall image becomes darker.

Great job man! <3

Fantastic. You could watch this for hours.

It looks like a liquid because it is so smooth

Wow, interesting variant, never seen so far. Reminds me of my first attempts. My images were looking from some altitude to the color Mandelbrot images at a time where the first color workstations were available. I programmed the interface to the graphics workstation GINA and the Mandelbrot images were the first tests.

For people who don't know what a Mandelbrot is. It means its a shape with an almost infinite line and if you zoom into this shape then you can see the more of the details of the shape and its a type or sort of a complex shape and does not have any "islands", every details are connected with each other and has its own history of the Mandelbrot Evolution and its made from mathematical equations and calculations including mathematical iterations

just like plants growing, giving mandelbrot iterations

this would make a nice credit intro for an arthouse film.

This is great! How did you interpolate between each iteration? Are similar methods used for smooth gradient colorings of fractals?

This looks like heat shrink being wrapped around something.

Just beautiful. Didn't you tried to associate a colour with the phase that point has in each iteration? Must be really nice

Amazing! How did you make it transition so smooth? For example, the transitions between the first 10 maximum iterations would be easily recognizable

is it just me or does it look like water spreading on paper?
