I was commissioned to make this junk run. jk I have a small soft spot for Saabs. But prefer the non GM influenced ones.
Used a ricer push to start button installed in cigarette lighter spot, powered by cigarette lighter circuit, wont crank with key off or without clutch depressed, cruise still cancels with clutch pedal.

removed the lock from the ignition module reassembled and so on.

A new ISM does not require 2 x new keys, you can use the existing ones. A new CIM on the other hand does.

Heyo, had this happen to me, like exactly. Right now I’m connecting fuses 30 and 37 to start it. How did you make this work???

Why would someone take the time to share this video and not share the solution?

99% of time a poorly charged battery causes this. It happened to me. I looked at fitting a bypass switch but realized the car had not been driven for over a month. Charged the battery did the key in key out thing from the video, and off it went no problem. Been starting well ever since and i run the car once a week to keep battery charged.

Having what I suspect is the same problem. Sure would be grateful if you would write out some instructions for me.

Dude $1800 for what exactly?? When u change out the ignition you DONT have to have new keys made. You can use the same key . The car will always recognize your key even after you swap out the ignition . I’ve done it several times on various Saab 9-3. The ignition only runs about $150 on most sites. That’s all u had to spend. Who the heck charged u $1800?

Well you're wrong because steering wheel lock malfunction does not mean that you need keys and a module that is a false statement it's probably the spring pin and 90% of the time you can reset it with tech too and I don't know who's charging you but it only cost like $500 with labor all together
