Y'all put bike lanes through freeway frontage roads with no signal or sign for drivers. TxDOT may have smart engineers but when it comes to implementation, it's cognitive dissonance and safety is the last thing you consider. If safety was any sort of priority, you would meaningfully invest in alternatives to driving like light rail and BRTs. More lanes does not cause less traffic, it causes more. Your engineers are smart enough to know that. Turning main streets into racetracks does not benefit those small businesses, it ruins them.
