In this Series, Secret Florida, my aim is to guide you through under-appreciated areas of the Florida Coast that might have slid under the radar and explain to you what makes them special; without completely giving away the secret. My goal in this series is to motivate you to get out there, explore, and discover some secret areas of your own.
This spot is not only a wonderful place for snorkeling, but also freediving and beginner level spearfishing. There are tons of fish! Snapper, Grouper, Sheepshead, crabs, lobster, coral, colorful sponges, and so many others! It's family friendly and wonderful for collecting shells especially after a tropical storm or hurricane.
