I only see the WU-1a listed. On the WU-1b page it lists compatibility with the following cameras D600 D-SLR/Nikon 1 V2/Nikon 1 J3/Nikon 1 S1.

Hi Molly, its a pretty decent camera but it's interface is a little slow at times too - I like the Canon t5i with 18-135 STM as an all around easy to use camera. I have more reviews about both cameras.

Thanks for explaining about the miniature effect. I enjoy time lapse photography but find processing shots taken with the intervelometer to be prohibitively difficult. The miniature effect may be a workable substitute.

well i got the Camera a couple of days ago any i already LOVE IT! it's way better than my point and shoot one. and mine isn't slow at all when i change settings. and the pictures that i take are so good quality!!! i'm so impressed with it!

You need a different lens. Maximum aperture values are controlled or limited by the lens you are using. With the 18-55 lens, when you are zoomed all the way out or at 18mm you should be able to get f/3.5 but as you zoom that value increases.

I watched it until the end. I owned a Nikon D3200 for a year and half. Just bought myself the D5300 love the camera; but did notice though "settings do not run the same. That's for dang sure.
