My son is 12, his dad and I have been divorced for about 11 years now and we have co-parented since we split up. He’s actually spending this school year in Houston with his dad bc they both asked for bonding time and I also knew my swamp cooler here in West TX just wouldn’t cut it or keep him safe in the heat waves. It is killing me to be away from my boy, but HE needs his dad more than I need my feelings validated. A good parent who loves their kid doesn’t ever use their child as a paycheck or a weapon, this man needs to take her broke ass to court and get custody - Texas stopped being a “mother favoring” state around 2013 gentlemen, just saying lol

If a woman tries scamming you by using your child's well-being as a ploy, call CPS and the police. Get it on the record with an arrest. Then go to court and cite the incident to show shes unfit to care for a child and have custody taken away.

Why these women think it's their baby dad responsibility when they are in trouble, or when they need help with their personal stuff? If the men pay child support, their is no need for the men to help with additional things if he doesn't want to.

SAVE THOSE TEXTS!! Family court would like to see this! And if I was the boyfriend, there's no way I would babysit another man's child. That's almost as bad as marrying a single mother, something I will not do. (Which would probably mean I wouldn't be her "boyfriend"!)

That man should bring that evidence of her saying that she's incompetent and cannot raise a child. She chooses her self-care over the well-being of her child by choosing to get her hair done and a nails done except fixing the AC system. Some people just put themselves in situation where they think that child's father is ATM, but at the same time the father needs to understand that you put yourself in that predicament about putting your seat inside that woman.
