DJs do not spend their entire time fiddling with the decks..all of it is made and planned out beforehand at home..like any performer they plan their set before they go on stage, that’s how she knew the bass drop was coming..because she made it !

As a friend of a DJ I can tell that she probably knows how to use the board but sometimes the DJ need time to enjoy the mix too

Guys most dj have some pre recorded mixed music because it's easier to make your edits before the performance so you dont mess up bad, they can add flare to they're already edited music if they wanted and they can also keep the crowd hyped by doing other things

The dj is responsible for keeping up the hype and mood like a performer, creating a curated playlist for the event, being able to adjust the playlist on a whim and still keep the same vibe and make it fit in with the other songs, and usually the dance remixes you are hearing were created by the dj themselves. She isn't just standing there hitting a play button! She planned all this music to make the event fun 😊👍
