Ooma has horrible customer service. I have tried to cancel several times. After wasting an hour online (because calling is the only way to cancel) they tell me it is cancelled, but I keep being charged. I have wasted hours of my life trying to get rid of this service. If they are treating other customers like me, I imagine they will be subject to a class action lawsuit at some point.

Sounds good, but I m looking for a basic phone system for 2 elderly people in their 90's No cell phones, only desk top and one phone number; and on their in income they cannot pay much. Would Ooma fit the bill?

Do you have to buy special ooma phones for each ooma device, or you can just use regular home phones that you currently have? Do you have to buy a ooma device for each home phone you would like to have? For example, if you want three phones in your home you have to buy three ooma devices?

Would 'ooma connect internet services' be able to handle many devices as within a large family? For example would we be able to stream Netflix on the TV and have several people watching YouTube via Wi-Fi on their phones, while others are simultaneously browsing the internet, without any issues or very slow internet speeds?
