Garage door installation low headroom.

Garage doors installed with double track low headroom hardware with liftmaster 8500 garage door openers. Dealer said this was not possible.

So funny I have the exact opposite setup on my install. Aluminum full view with tinted windows Idolized Matt Black. With a Jack shaft operator on the right hand side with a 3/4 h lift master belt drive on the left. Everyone I chit chatted with said it couldn't be done...well buddy you and I both set the bar with our double track low headroom kits...Smar T pantsing if you ask me bubba. Noice woirk!

Great installation. Good way to deal with a bulkhead hanging 4 feet back from the opening.

Do you think it would operate both doors? If I had two couplings obviously. My 2 doors are closer together btw.

Use 12R track with jackshaft opener, your door doesnt pull out of opening

I would reccomend a "high lift track system as well.

Why the low headroom install and wall mount unit? Looks like plenty of space for normal stuff

I did this too. Getting some grinding sounds when it’s opening toward the end of the opening. Sounds like the cable has high tension and is rubbing against itself while it’s winding up. Any advice?

is your horizontal track level? i've had to raise the back of the track to get gravity to start the door going down.

Your safety sensor is too high. Technically the sensor is the problem.

Really shouldn't use a residential jackshaft on low headroom doors. Sounds like the tracks are too tight and the rollers are grinding.
