Aka went full Attack on Titan and killed off the main character. Even worse Kana heard the news of Aqua's being recovered and just stood their with black eyes shocked. Akane stood over the cliff with flowers and knew he was going to sacrifice himself. Detective Akane always one step ahead of everyone. Now we'll see how Ruby reacts in 165. I mean Aqua did say he was going to die and Mephisto gave us the foreshadowing that it was going to happen. Can't say you were never warned about this.

One thing about an Aka Akasaka manga is that he puts in EVERYTHING comedy, romance, thriller, drama, and tragedy. Aka wanted to put in a murder plot in Love is War, but the editors talked him out of it so he put in here in Oshi No Ko. If you want a happy ending then follow Love is War and start on chapter 152.

I think everyone forgets that Yokoyari Mengo is the illustrator of Oshi no Ko. If there is one thing I know after reading some of her works is that she is not afraid of doing bitterweet endings just like on kuzo no honkai, that she could pitch it to Aka Akasaka for Oshi no Ko

I think that one of the last chapters will tells of one time, where Ruby, despite the pain, felt relieved that with Hikaru gone, her mother Ai, Goro, and Aqua have finally rest in peace. Also, that will be one time, even with Crow girl, she comes to understand that Aqua is doing all of this to protect her.
