I've never bought insurance for my phones and I've had one since the 90's.

Don't forget that all manufacturers offer a one-year warranty on their phones. All you have to do is take the phone to your carrier and they will do the rest. Please keep in mind that the warranty doesn't cover theft, abuse nor neglect.

To insure your phone, check with your home insurance company!  There's a good chance you can insure your phone there for a fraction of the cost that a phone company wants to charge.  And maybe even better coverage!!!

Your carrier ratings are ancient. Please update them. Some carriers have improved and others have gone downhill quickly.
