Started wearing this recently and feels great. I'm 200 lbs/6ft tall size XL fits perfect but had to get a new jacket 2XL to accomodate inflation - also picked up some spare canisters while i was at it. Very happy with quality and we'll find out how it performs when I crash lol

I'm 5 feet 9.75 inches (1.77 meters), and I weighed about 187 pounds (84.8 kg). A large fits me snugly, but comfortably. I needed to buy my MSR Explorer jacket in size large to fit over the Tech-Air Off-Road. Alpinestars provides a formula for determining what size jacket you need to wear so the airbag can fully deploy under it. This system is meant to be worn under a jacket/coat. That's probably why it doesn't have elbow pad straps--your jacket will have those.

I got 2 different airbag vests this year but i should have got this one.

Just bought one. Should i be worried about false deployments when hopping into a gas station or a store during a ride or walking around looking at somethin? Maybe also bending over to check out a bike or my own tyres? I can disarm it on the controlls but for rearming i need to unzip and rezip it wich would be quite a hassle when wearing a jersey and maybe an external hydration pack above it.

For what they're charging you can buy a 2 smoker off of marketplace! Astars cant even make a suitable pull tab on their zippers on street jackets! Replaced with a paperclip that is stronger than what they make. They should stick to boots!

Two major issues with this system.
1. Zero side rib protection. Even my A10 has that.
2. On the East coast where it’s humid 4 months of the year, this thing is unwearable. Trying doing enduro wearing a plastic bag. Enjoy.
