Показать описание
In this edition of ARCHICAD USER we look at projects by Richard Matthews (Australia), Mechiel van den Dolder (Netherlands), Gerd Bolt (South Africa) and Dean Johnston (Hawaii USA). How are ARCHICAD best practices applied to different styles, contexts and building types?

Note: During this session, there were audio issues for Mechiel and Gerd; this recording is edited down to eliminate some of the tech discussions.

2:24:29 If the sloped beam has a 5° slant angle the horizontal beam has to has to have a 5° rotation in order for them to meet perfectly. You can find the "Beam Slant Angle" and the "Beam Profile Rotation" input boxes in the dialog box of the beam tool.

You can definitely create metal flashings with sloped beams and you can intersect a sloped beam with a horizontal one and they will meet perfectly at the correct angle in the corner.

Hi Eric, Greeting from Indonesia. I like your tutorials and I am very interested in learning ArchiCAD. I've downloaded some of your videos. it will take time to learn it and I am okay with that. No expert did it instantly. Could you please help me to send small project example of yours which is show the correct way to use ArchiCAD? Because sometimes I just get lost to organize layers, view maps, model view. etc. I hope to study the workflow from an expert project will be helpful. Thanks Eric. Cheers
