Not only is Daybreaker one of my favourite architects album its nearly impossible to deny that the lyrical quality and instrumental work has had a lot more thought into it than previous albums. Architects have always been a unique band even though being labeled "metalcore", it's just that they want to expand their sound. Sam's cleans are wonderful and the newer music expresses and has tons of emotion in it. Metal isn't always about being heavy, it's about enjoyment and quality over quantity.

Architects are one of the most accomplished bands ever but you can tell they still make music because they like it, regardless of the media. To paraphrase one of the Searle brothers: "Don't fucking have a mardy if you don't like our stuff. If you don't like it don't bother telling us 'cos I'm not interested." That sums up Architects for me and I love it
