Hi, Thank you for including different spellings for ɔ: sound. For non native speakers it's immensely helpful. I have seen couple of videos on ɔ: sound and your is truly helpful.. Wishing you very best for your future endeavors.

Hello Billie,

I noticed that in your video on the Alveolar Flap, you used the /a:/ sound rather than the /ɔ:/ when transcribing "daughter" and living here in the South, I hear people say /da:ɾɚ/ all the time. I'm beginning to find these variations fascinating.

Thanks again for your great videos!

Just want to know if vowels have a manner and place of articulation or not؟

I think your videos are really helpful, but in this case I must admit I am a bit confused about your pronunciation in talk, walk, false etc., because the long ɔ: sounds more like a: like in American pronunciation

Hi,
I was watching your lesson, but I can not distinguish between /ɑː/ and /ɔː/.

Could you explain more. Please.

The symbol /u:/ is a long o or long u sound?

You explain long, , sorry, orange, lost, cost like [ɒ] not [ ɔ:] though you do them correctly as [ ɔ:].
