Speed= 100 km/h
1 hour= 60 minutes
Therefore, speed can be wriiten as 100km/60 mins
The proportion will be:-
100/60 = x/20
Apply cross product property
100 × 20 = 60 × x
2000 = 60x
2000/60 = x
200/6 = x
100/3 = x
33.33 = x(up to two decimal places)
Therefore, it will travel 33.33 km in 20 minutes

100/60 = x/20
Here, x is the unknown value which is the distance the train will travel in 20 minutes.
Here, we can apply cross multiplication

x = 2000/60
= 33.333 km
