$100 sushi omakase count me in 🙋🏻♀️
checking out the hottest and newest izakaya spot in Orange County — Izakaya Osen Irvine
from the same founders from the location in silver lake they are bringing the same quality and consistency. i got to try their sushi omakase which was absolutely delicious from sweet shrimp with ikura, toro and caviar, to fresh crab topped with uni and caviar.
the yakitori list is extensive so there’s something for everyone! tbh the skewers i ordered all tasted delicious and if you need some recs i recommend ordering — chicken cartilage, chicken gizzard, chicken heart, bacon wrap shrimp and pork short rib.
if you have extra room and love yellowtail collar I def recommend adding that too.
if you want to end the meal strong and can’t decide on dessert — they have this dessert special that includes green tea ice cream, dried persimmons, and matcha cake
