about the reason why maestro doesn't kill lord regent. if you talk to him after unbounding your weapon but before unlocking the fight he states that he will help you take down the lord regent when etrea is strong enough to stand on its own and that if he'd do it now the authority will simply take over etrea and deny the vigils' way of living

They changed every NPC that uses Gale Kata to use WoN M1s. The M1s still have the same damage as Gale Kata. Its just for show.

This change was added silently due to the lag Gale Kata causes, it has much more frames than any other weapon, so the smooth animations mess everything up.

the reason for maestro not killing lord regent is becasue hes the reason etris hasnt fallen to the authority since maestro cant hold both vigils and etris and hes fully aware of the regent, you goober

the answer to why maestro doesn't just go kill lord regen is that if he did kill lord regent authority would most likely invade etrea and no matter how strong he is he can't just stop an entire invasion by himself, that's why he gives you a weapon if you beat him so that he can make more powerful allies so if authority does invade he isn't the only person that can actually stop them
