Tiffany and Walker say their mother, Shari, hits the casino the moment her paycheck drops into her bank account. They say she’s nearly $90,000 in debt, has filed for bankruptcy multiple times, and is now living with Walker and his wife, Emma, because she can’t afford a place of her own.

“My mother, Shari, is out of control with her gambling addiction,” Walker says. “I feel like I’m the adult for my mother, Shari. I’m always worried about if she doesn’t have any money this week, how is she going to eat.”
Tiffany, Walker’s sister, says their mom likes to play the penny slots and seems to get a high similar to a drug addict when she’s playing. “My mom always thinks that she’s going to win big, and she walks out with nothing, every time,” Tiffany says. “She has blown through almost $200,000.”
