Motorola has introduced a new smartphone designed specifically for the American market. And while I was hoping it would be the sleek new 2022 Razr (which is, unfortunately, only available in China at the moment), it turns out we're looking at yet another entry in the company's Edge family. The Edge series is built to provide various features typically found on more expensive flagship devices at a more reasonable price. (Motorola's Edge Plus, meanwhile, competes head-on with other high-end models.)

The Motorola Edge 2022 will include the same hallmarks as previous iterations of the phone, including an OLED display, long battery life, full 5G compatibility, and improved cameras. A 6.6-inch Full High Definition Plus OLED display with up to 144 frames per second of refresh rate is included. That screen supports HDR10 Plus and can reach a peak brightness of 1,300 nits in its "high brightness" setting. It is the first smartphone of 2022 to use a processor made by MediaTek. The MediaTek Dimensity 1050 SoC is used, and it is compatible with both Sub 6 and millimeter wave 5G networks, including the C-band spectrum. Wi-Fi 6E is installed on board the Edge as well. And friends it's amazing that The phone will be offered in two different storage and memory capacities: the standard model has 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM, while the premium variant has 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. Google One cloud storage of 100 GB for 12 months is included with all editions. The smartphone packs a 5,000 mAh battery and supports wireless power sharing, allowing you to charge other devices or charge them yourself at a rate of 5 watts. The device may be charged through the included 15-watt cable charger. However, Motorola chose to skimp on water and dust resistance by giving it only an IP52 rating. And we think it’s an amazing feature from the company’s side to their users.

I am actually looking to buy this smartphone. At 500 bucks, it has a great Dimensity chipset and it has a good display as well.

Yeah this is not the correct phone that's in the video I have the Motorola edge 2022 and for $499.00 introductory price I recommend it got mine from T-Mobile had it for going on 2 weeks now decent phone handles regular everyday daily activities with ease it also handles gaming with no problem no lag whatsoever the first time I gamed on it it got extremely hot and started lagging to where the game (Tennis Clash)was almost unplayable I almost returned it but decided to give it a second shot I'm glad I did because since then it's been running great no problem with overheating or heat I can play 3 to 4 hours plus of different kinds of games with no problem handles them with ease Call of Duty, Tennis Clash, Ginshin Impact and Fortnite have been handled with ease by the Mediatek Dimensity 1050. Pictures seem to be okay I haven't tested the camera much but from the few shots I have taken they seem to be okay I'll give a more detailed camera review and a couple of weeks.
