I had a trade in place earlier this year where I would have gotten Mike Evans for Tom Brady, Joe Mixon & Sammy Watkins. It was right after Evans had just put up a goose egg and I knew the guy was emotional over it. Trade got vetoed because they thought the trade was unbalanced in the other guy's favor. I straight up left the league... No money was involved anyway. Don't have time for that shit! If I can't make trades, I'm not interested.

Has anyone ever proved collusion? That is such an idiotic reason to veto. League integrity and longevity matters. Stupid people can ruin leagues. Veto their trades then dont invite them next season.

Me and some buddies started up a dynasty league and this exact discussion about trades happend, apparently to the league my trade of giving up Sammy Watkins, tevin Coleman, and fournette for zeke Elliot was unfair and I with a little more than half the league argued for having trades go through instantly and banishing vetoes, I’ll tell you now the legaue is now a lot smoother run

Sharing this video in my league since we have the veto system and people veto all the time because “it’s strategic.” We haven’t had a single meaningful trade go down in our league.

Trades actually destroy fantasy leagues.

Couldn’t agree more. Unless a trade is CLEAR and OBVIOUSLY collusion it should pass. Last year we had a nightmare situation in our league with the first time player trading Lev Bell during his holdout. It got nasty but everything ended up working out because it would have been a totally fair trade seeing as how things played out.

As commissioner, I oversee all trades and make it instantaneous. If they're not egregious they're approved. Fact is you never know who really wins the trade, its so unpredictable.

Week 4 I tried to trade Kenny Golladay and Aaron Rodgers for Hopkins and Brees (who was injured) and the league vetoed my trade and made me give up eckler as well
3 weeks later the person who blocked my trade traded OBJ, Gurley, and Waller for Mahomes, Devante Adams, and Lindsay. This trade was also vetoed but after he cried to the commish and threatened to leave the league he got his way. Now he is going to make the playoffs and his team is way better. Seems pretty hypocritical to me, but would love to hear your thoughts on this clearly egregious situation
Big fan of the show keep it up guys you are awesome

I’m in a 12 team league with friends. Most of us have been in it for several years. It’s a redraft league with 1 keeper. Once mathematically eliminated from the playoffs should a player be allowed to make a trade for a player they’d like to keep the following year or should that trade automatically be viewed as collusion and immediately vetoed because the player won’t be in the playoffs?

I tried to trade Michael Thomas and Dak for Mark Ingram and it got vetoed. I already have Russel Wilson, and had Kupp and Edelman. I woulda won so hard on that trade. Frankly I am not going to be returning to that league.

You're not taking into account people who play, yet are just not that knowledgable (but still badly want to play). They can't just trade whoever they want because they don't understand the idea of dual-benefit for both teams (i.e. these kids will make trades that don't benefit their own team what so ever, so as commissioner why would I allow it!) as well as us who have been playing for a seriously long amount of time. Only when you are playing with serious veterans, does your point validate.

I believe the trade should be fair and should benefits both parties so they can improve their squad in hopes to making the playoffs.Once one team has no shot then they have no business in making a trade. I am probably in the minority here but when you are the commissioner it's a different perspective.
