The Army got much worse under him. We are the weakest we’ve ever been.

Depends on what you mean by better. If you mean an easier, more friendly, nicer profession to join, then you are the cause for all of the problems the army is currently dealing with. If you mean better by making the army a sharper, more professional, more efficient war fighting machine, then good job. We need more of you.

No, 'we' did not make The Army better.

I can see why you don't name any accomplishments, and no, you did not make the US Army better. If anything, the Army, along with the rest of the armed services, are in the worst shape since the mid/late seventies. So, under your watch, the Army did not get better.

He was part of the problem. Basic training is now worthless because of the WOKE culture he brought. The shark hand, the yelling, putting new recruits in cattle cars wasn’t to harass. It was to tear them down and rebuild a discipline Army Soldier!!! It was also to teach Soldiers to complete missions under high stress. The other benefits of a tough basic, was it identified soldiers that couldn’t handle stress and were susceptible to suicide. We now see the issues in the field. High suicides, poor discipline. and entitled soldiers. It wasn’t all his fault. Generals at the Pentagon have become more Politicians than soldiers and have pushed and allowed this. Recruitment is down because of this, even though they blame the new Generation. We need to go back to an 80/90s style BASIC training.

Good job sergeant major. You have done a great job. I’m a big fan of you. I’m in the army with 134 days left in my 8 year contract in the IRR. should I re-enlist?

What about the stuff that makes the army worse? Would you like to take blame for that or are you going to pass blame on all the ones you just listed?

No, you all did NOT make the Army better and you KNOW it.

The answer is most certainly NO. In fact if that was your only goal, you failed miserably. So bad it's almost as if making it worse WAS the goal.
