Hayter harrier 41 electric start servicing and repair

Good video thanks, we have a similar mower, but maybe just 10 years old or so, and the electric start tends to work ok when the mower is warm but rarely works when the mower is cold, the engine turns over but does not " catch", before I invest in a new battery what would your thoughts be ? Might it be a weak battery, we did charge it up over a few days and still it would not start it from cold .Thanks in advance
