Thanks for your updates, floater suffer myself. I recently went to the Optometrist and had my eyes dilated for the examination. To my elation the floaters seemed to disappear (I would say 90% improvement) for the better part of the rest of the day. I had read about low dose Atropine (.01%) from The Floater Doctor YouTube page which dilates the eyes slightly allowing more light into the eye making the shadows less noticeable but I never understood how that would help until I experienced the dilation first hand. I am going to go this route which hopefully manages the symptoms until a safe treatment for young people is developed.

Eye floaters sucks, The big problem is that it seems every eye floater is different. That's why what works for some, doesn't work for others. And that's why some dissapear, but others don't. But I think most awful or noticeable floaters (I'm not an M.D.) are related to blood vessels, so maybe you should go for that route. Eyes needs a lot of oxygen and many people has vascular problems, that's why some can't get rid of floaters. Because the vascular problem blocks the blood flow. Again every eye floater case is different, so you keep hope, I know it's stressful and frustrating, but always be grateful that yo can see, it's only to find what works for you, And remember there are studies that prooves you can get rid of floaters, So there's always hope. Sorry, my english it's not so good. But I wanted to write this comment.

You may be confusing Blue Field Entoptic Phenomenon with floaters. Especially looking at the blue sky after a snowfall.

hello Brett, thanks for the update, I am from India. I am suffering from uveitis which causes eye floaters on left eye. I am doing IF for the last one year with 16:8 ration, now I have increased the fasting period to 18:6. but my left eye is so dry that it becomes itchy. Started giving optive eye drops. I have seen some visible improvement on black floaters which are fading way. Do you recommend me for 72 hours for further benefit?
