The “you are gonna hate your husband” one hit me on a very personal level.

Girl you do not have to apologize for “tmi” or being “gross” - thank you for speaking frankly about women’s health! The more we talk about the CRAZY shit that is pregnancy, the more we normalize it! I experienced a lot of what you shared. Also - how about not being able to get out of bed without feeling like a turtle stuck on its back?! I remember waking up one day and wondering why the heck I couldn’t sit up and it’s because my core was just completely gone. Sigh.

No one told me how uncomfortable my uterus would be in early pregnancy. As soon as 9 weeks I was struggling not to waddle because the stretching was horrible lol.

Have we even talked about sleeping or lack there of. Or how you can’t breath when you lay down. Ya that’s a time.

Drooling and excess saliva
'Lightning vagina' - spasm sensation that feels like a lightning bolt
Bleeding gums and nose
Shorter threshold for physical activity
Back pain (that feels different)
Having to eat a million smaller meals a day
The pregnant lady's poop could smell like baby poo
Pregnancy Carpal Tunnel
Sense of smell could ruin something you previously loved the smell of
The baby inside has to approve of your sitting/laying position
Round Ligament Pain is common in pregnancy
Hormonal cysts
An active baby inside exhausts pregnant mum - baby runs the marathon but you're the venue. Baby's movements could essentially make you feel just like you're 'sea sick'.
Stretchmarks are scientifically proven to be unpreventable (based on your skin type)
Skin tags... everywhere
Restless Leg Syndrome - because while pregnant your blood pressure is weird
Hemeroids
Frequent infections or cold/flu or even thrush and UTIs
Almost no ability to use your ab muscles any more
Your feet can swell, but so can your vagina or outer labias
Water retention
Unable to regulate temperature
Sense of hearing can increase too (along with sense of smell) - it can start to make you jumpy
Skin can dry up and become scaly
Pelvic pressure - mostly felt on your pelvic floor
Especially once baby becomes engaged: peeing can become a mission and only work in certain positions
~Just to name a few extras~

Omg every time I peed during my pregnancy I would check for blood. But I was super paranoid because I had 2 miscarriages before.

Omg the discharge is a real thing! It’s like you’re peeing on yourself sometimes!

You mentioned so many things that I totally forgot about after being pregnant! I swear you get amnesia after having your baby.
I used to drink much water! Even though I was always peeing, I never really got constipated or had swollen feet, thanks to all that water. Hydration is so important!

Flatulence - like all day everyday! Eating anything I can get my hands on times 10. Rediscovering foods that I haven’t had in years. Heartburn for no reason other than sitting not eating or drinking

The constant checking in the beginning is so freaking true. I had a miscarriage two years ago so I was absolutely paranoid something would happen. 28 weeks now, I think shes good in there :)

Gurl you lay the truth down as is 🙌🙌.This is my first but at 9weeks I had a terrible bleeding that lasted a day and gladly baby was fine but that was the beginning of a full time paranoia and major anxiety of wipe n check x100.Women are morning sickness, heart burn, migraines, palpitations, body aches to heart burn, Braxton hicks, exhaustion. discomforts to having so many kids..God bless mothers, it takes pregnancy to fully understand that bringing a life to this world is no walk in the park.

I'm 10 weeks rn, and another thing is dehydration. I feel like I have to be constantly drinking water. I can drink half of my water bottle and 5 minutes later, my mouth is like the Sahara.

Heartburn!!! Every single day for the last 4-5 months of my pregnancy, everyday!!! It finally stopped the minute after my baby was born.

Thank you for the honesty of this video. After over 3 years of my husband and I trying to conceive since my first born, I’ve had a mixture of feelings including feeling guilty for being ready for this pregnancy to be over with and feeling like I never want to have children again. It has always been my dream to have a large family but being pregnant has been exhausting and more painful than I expected. I was starting to think something must be wrong with me for feeling this way since no one seems to talk about the “ugly” truth about pregnancy. Everyone just seems to glamorize pregnancy when I feel large and uncomfortable. I am 28 weeks and so grateful to be this far along since we had a miscarriage about 2 years ago. I almost decided to cancel our shower because I just feel so exhausted but after watching your video, I’m a little more encouraged that I am not alone. Also that this baby deserves to be celebrated. Thanks again.
