This is a very well used and somewhat abused iPhone 6. I show you how it held up after 2 years of hard use.

I had a 4s, 5s, 6s and 7. I will say the 6 was a big step up!!!!

When I pay that much money for anything, I make sure I take care of it. My iPhone 6 really still looks brand new. I've had it in a case and had a tempered glass screen protector on it since day 1. I replaced the battery myself when it was getting slow and wouldn't hold a charge all day, and the phone actually runs well, for a 3.5 year old phone running iOS 11.2.5. I'll probably upgrade later this year to an iPhone 8 because I still like the old design and the home button. At that time, I'm going to sell my iPhone 6 and should be able to get some money out of it because of the nice shape it's in.

Yup, I have used a pretty "abused" phone for about two months. It was my first Samsung device, the Galaxy S. I used it heavily for three years. Its screen was broken twice and exactly like shown here, the screen was detached from the chasis. But I continued to use it for a while because it was working fine !!!! Other than the weird touch response at times( because it had multiple cracks on the screen), it worked without any hiccup !! I finally ( and very very reluctantly) gave up using the phone as the battery started to swell. Such delicate device, but so much sturdy. Heck, it didn't even have a metal build back then !! I was very much impressed ! Like you said here, these phones are a testimony of the durability of modern electronics !!

I really like the way that case aged. I have the same case on my iPhone 6 but by the time it ages the way I want it I'll probably upgrade to the iPhone 7 later this year.

I can never understand why and how people treat and abuse such an expensive device like this. This is not just a phone, it is a powerful pocket computer, camera, music player and what not all. Appreciate it and treat it with some respect and care.

I think the leather apple case looks classy after getting that dark touch. I am still using an iPhone 4 from 2011 and can pretty much say that the phone is still in a good condition once it gets refurbished. Pretty nice, Aaron!

I had to upgrade to a 7 jetblack last week. My 6 antenna went out. Stayed in no service all the time. Did everything apple told me to do for 4 days and the last option was to upgrade or pay a couple hundred to fix it.. The seven is a better upgrade than I thought. I had the 6 since launch day..

*Most Abused* was when I had the *Original 1st Gen iPhone.* Cracked screen, dents on the aluminium frame and scratches. And it *still works.*

Put your iPhone on a pillow while charging. I know how dumb it sounds but it lets the heat travel in and out of it unlike a mattress or nightstand.

Great video! I've had my s6 edge for two years now. I just wiped all the data and updated to android 7.0. I am really surprised that it still runs very smooth most of the times. Besides battery life, s6 edge have been very consistent for me.

It's a very good idea to show how a phone looks and feels after two years of use, which is the normal usage time for average people. I have to say that cell phones nowadays really lasts more than we imagined.

I am using iphone 6 in 2018 since 2017 it works smoothly in ios 10.3.2/10.3.3 but in the ios 11 above it’s having a lot of lag but it is still usable today in 2018 it will held up unto 2023 if apple still suported or fix some bugs on the iphone 6

Not surprised. The 6 was made more brittle than the 6s. After just 1 year my 6 had scratches all around(especially around the charging port) and the aluminum back started getting easier to damage and then it couldn't even hold up a charge. So I've had the 6s for a while(about 8 months)and it's a much more solid build.

iPhone 6 is a very durable device. Thinking of getting one for my dad who is very heavy on phones. You'd save me some bucks if you sent that phone to South Africa

I take good care of my devices. I have an iPhone 6 that my job provides and it is in pristine condition. Always wear a slim case and always have tempered screen glass on my phones. I am writing this on a 7 Plus and plan on using this phone for at least 3 years. Aaron: do you think that good battery maintenance can keep a phone battery fresh?

I use a case just to keep the phones value, I usually only use a clear case and a screen protector to be safe against scratches
