Blackmagic Design Streaming Bridge Setup and Configuration with ATEM Mini Pro

The @BlackmagicDesignOfficial Streaming Bridge is a companion device for your ATEM mini pro or ISO which will allow you to stream from in-house, to across the world. Similar to streaming to Facebook or YouTube, the bridge allows you to get a 1080p video signal to the remote control room for streaming, or recording with fast editing.

One quick question - RTMP rides atop TCP, not UDP, yes?

I hope Blackmagic will add support for SRT to both the ATEM Mini Pro & the Streaming Bridge. That would result in reduced latency.

As is, carrying on an interactive voice conversation out-of-band via some other VoIP service is likely the way to go, using the RTMP session to record the remote video & audio for use in post. I don't think this is a viable live, interactive solution because of the latency associated with RTMP riding atop TCP.

Excellent video. With my Tenda nova mw6 router I couldn't open port 1935. Connect my old Apple Extreme routter and you can use it with port 1935. Regards

After you put the stream on the Internet using streaming bridge, what url will you be giving to others who would like to see the streaming the internet?

The streaming bridge is great to record in full HD to a NINJA V or similar device when the USB C Port on the ATEM Mini Pro is blocked to use it a webcam for ZOOM and you need the multiview output for editing live. When you use the HDMI Output on the NINJA you could also project the recording live to a beamer in another venue. I have ordered my streaming bridge in August 2020 and it was shipped on 12th of November and it is a useful addition to the BM ecosystem.

I have watch three videos on this and read the entirety of the black magic support docs (don't be impressed, their docs are like three sentences - shame on black magic - crappy support as usual). And you are the only one who showed how to export the xml. Every single other video as well as the Black Magic website itself made it sound like you just plug the ethernet cable into the ATEm adn the Bridge and it just works. Plug and play. I was pulling my hair out. No info on this at all... until I found your video. The video is two years old and still more info on it that anything on Black Magic site. Good work. Thanks.

And: what happens when 2 people using the same xml-file connect simultaneously to the streaming bridge?
