Today we're unboxing and installing the brand new Altiq Rogue MK3 8.5 Spotlights from @altiqau. These things have INSANE specs, shining over 2.2km with over 35,000 lumens. In this video we unbox the Rogue 8.5s, get them installed on the Dmax, and give them a real-world test to see how they perform.

The drone POV shot at night really shows the coverage of these lights well. And your in-car POV shows they're formidable. And I the DRLs patters too. Simple but distinguished. Great run-through of the product.

Can you use the same wiring harness as the Infinant 8.5’s?

Great video again!
I would recommend something like Loctite to secure those bolts especially for corrugations.
Greetings from frezzing Germany! 🥶🥶🥶

Note for colorado 2013 and up you will need a specific piggy back plug to go from wiring loom to headlight! Yes they are a h7 globe but you need the certain plug to trigger it

Only found you yesterday and glad i did, awesome vid mate

SCA has some foam for toolboxes quite cheap, you could cut your own inserts to suit your camera gear and make use of those cases!

I cant fault my Infinites and just ordered the Rogue 8.5 Mk3 for my Troopy..
Price is always a consideration but quality isn't expensive, it's priceless.

A most illuminating review. Please do an update on how the locating hardware is holding up after you've been on a few hundred kms of corrugations.
You are possibly the only person working in the crowded off road youtube space who has used the word "montage"in your delivery! Good work :)
Thanks.

Hey mate, did you run wiring for these through the same grommet you passed your GME aerial wiring through. Have you noticed any interference ?

Now i just need to wait for my cheaper autobarn spotties to stop working so I can validate these.
Maybe they'll have the orange covers out then.
Thanks for the video.

Thanks for sharing. Not that I expect you to have the funds or opportunity to compare but it would be great to see a comparison against Stedi and Lazerlamps. You could alwasys reach out to those companies. To date, the Lazerlamps appear to have the best quality light but they are expensive, wherease Stedi seem to be in a similar price range to the Altiq. Cheers

Nice looking lights. What are the legalities of them sticking forward of the bullbar? One of the draw backs of suck body hugging bullbars .
