The squid was terrible 🥴

Today we're taking a 30 hour trip around the world with Eva Air business class. Starting in Bali, all the way to Los Angeles.

Despite the good things I've heard about Eva Air before, unfortunately this turned out to be the worst business class experience I've ever had.

Watch Until the end of the video to see my full experience with this airline, my review and I'll also be revealing the staggering cost of this flight 🤑

Better call this video “Karen goes on travel”

It's more I love myself and a selfie show than a real flight

Impossible to believe that this needs saying - Don't order fish if you don't like fish! The last time I sat in a business class seat that DIDN'T allow me to pre-order my meals was in the 1990s. This is all on you.

How is Eva Air the worst? They are a 5-star SkyTrax airline, the flight attendants are nice, and the food is good. And by the way, seafood on airplanes is not good, and compared to other airlines like American, United, and Delta, EVA AIR is top-notch. Other reviewers like Sam Chui and Non Stop Dan both say that EVA AIR is a good airline.

I fly a lot and EVA is one of the top airlines. No offense, the mistakes are on you. You should have requested western meals. You may not know that culturally, Asians LOVE seafood, it out ranks chicken and beef. It looks like they served some really awesome seafood dishes. Your complaint would be like an Asian flying KLM and complaining they don't have rice and Asian pickles.

Did you know that EVA Air allows you to go online and pre-select specific meal items? This way you won't be stuck with seafood which you don't like. Most Asian cuisine has seafood to some extent.

is this a typical rant from someone who is too rich but too lazy to do any research for whatever he/she is getting with the money spent??? i was once in Japan in a high end omakase tempura restaurant where all food orders are booked in advance, and then all of a sudden a white lady came in asking to do vegetarian instead of the typical selections (mostly seafood) from the chefs. the lady obviously didn't enjoy most of the vegetarian tempuras from that restaurant. you are just like her.

Flown EVA Business a few times and it was excellent, loved the food, service etc. was 1/3 of price of Qatar Q suite and 90% as good!

Amazingly, she is the only one who raised complaints and negative feedbacks on BR Business Class. Not sure her resentments and frustrations reflect the reality. Like other comments, I will recommend her to fly on her private aircraft next time.

Your complaints are merit less Sorry much of this is your own doing. I suggest you start taking more personal responsibility.

like the vid seems like u started off the day not too well. EVA is a pretty good airline. i mean seeing from ur reaction, u could always check on the menu when booking your flight to stya away from seafood. Ive been on many EVA flights and i can say service and how they take care of u is pretty nice. but food is always difficult to suit everyones liking. B4 ur next flight u should check if they have an alternative menu which im sure they do. that will be better for u . yes the biggest downside is u need to pay for your wifi. this is ture tho, but also u can look into getting cards that help u out with flying cuz 8000 bucks for this type of transfer flight is a bit way too much. Hope u give them another chance

Food is subjective 60% I think then the other 40% is objective cuisine skills. You not liking seafood is not really an airlines issue unless it’s the only option they gave you then that’s a fail on airlines for not giving options for business class. To compare to Emirates and Qatar is hard because they are state run and operated so they could run at a lost and it doesn’t matter because the oil money will just keep flowing. But they do provide an example of what good service is. Definitely top notch based even on Sam Chui’s and Non Stop Dan reviews. That EVA air experience is nothing like what we Americans have to put up with American, United and Delta lol. You pay a lot for nothing with USA carriers lol. I was in United First a few years ago just before Covid and they ran out of beef and gave me scraps and didn’t have any other food left for me. I was like wtf. You ran out of food on first class? Smh. Another fail was $12, 000 business/first class on ANA to Hokkaido via Haneda and the plane service was good but ground service was bad in Hokkaido. Haneda they were good just Hokkaido was smh attitude. ANA is ranked #3 behind #2 Singapore and #1 Emirates on Skytrax service though I heard Skytrax is pay to win XD. So the people working is very important on making a business look good or bad.

FYI, it's it's Evergreen Airways, so it's pronounced E-V-A. Also, with the exception of Singapore Airlines and Qatar, Wi-Fi is NOT typically free, even in business or first. I have to say, I believed your video up until the very end when you started hawking "how much money you made." It's baffling why anyone would take financial advice from a YouTuber who would pay $8K for a one-way business class flight from Indonesia (one of the cheapest places to book J tickets). Go on kayak now and look at J flights from Bali or Jakarta to the US--you truly wasted A LOT of $.
