as a non believer i love this song and other gospel and especially this orchestra

i don't know why Mack doesn't bring out a longer, darker, more covered tone when they sing these spirituals. His college choirs did them so well. This tone reminds me of my mother as she's doing dishes just happily singing songs to herself. It's pretty and all and it's in tune but the voice is capable of so many different timbres and colors, yet i feel like i hear this same lazy, bright tone on every song. Less singing with wide teeth, longer vowels, raised soft palette and more support will really do the trick on this piece!
