The Fan-Made spiritual successor to Fiber Bundles

This entire animation was created from scratch in Blender 3D using Midilman, our Midi animation addon for Blender. I created the 3D portion, while Zach Goertzen produced the song, supplied with presets and synths from Nick T and March Cain. Thanks for sticking with me the whole time guys!

Q: Is this a new song?
A: Yes! Zach Goertzen composed it and March Cain & Nick T. contributed many synths and presets.

Q: What is Midilman and when will it be released?
A: Midilman is the addon I'm developing for Blender 2.8 to allow for many different types of animation to be controlled with midi files directly in Blender. I still have a lot of work to do to get a version 1.0 out, so the release date and price aren't solidified yet.

Q: Are you affiliated with Animusic LLC in any way?
A: No, we operate on our own as a separate group of fans.

Q: Are you looking for more people to join your "team"?
A: Not at the moment. Once we have a more clear creative direction and solidified workflow, we'll open that opportunity up

At first I thought that it was going to be another remix of the original song. My jaw hit the floor when I realized that it is actually a different song. I never thought I would see the day that I would ever see a fiber bundles that wasn’t the original. Today is that day, and I say thank you. Thank you for fulfilling a childhood dream. Though it has many similarities to the original, it is still unique in its own right.

Oh my GOD. This is an awesome fanimation. This literally has the same kind of energy I associate with Harmonic Voltage, it is that good. It has a build-up (I love that you included the metronomic "pulse"-like beats of the original, just tweaked), a bridge, a softer middle, and then a triumphant ending, just like Harmonic Voltage. The animation is top-notch quality, and it legitimately looks like it could have been produced by Animusic.

Holy shit! I have been wondering about the state of proper Animusic and it's fanbase for a very long time and have debated attempting a fully hand-animated animation idea for quite some time now. It is so cool to see somebody taking blender to it's limits to progress Animusic and hopefully help people continue Animusic past where it had left off. I am just sad that it took me until today to find this progress! I genuinely would pay for an addon to make this stuff. Keep up the good work, and I will be following you and your development of this addon for the years to come!
