Stephen A doesn’t really care about diversity, he never brings up Asians or Pacific Islanders. He just wants a black owner that’s it.

Stephen A is playing a very dangerous game suggesting the government get involved in this. And as a minority, I strongly believe that someone should be hired who has the qualifications/talent necessary to perform a job to their best ability. NOT simply based on their skin color. The gov has NO business…IN business which is what the NFL is. Teams will continue to hire white coaches if the white coaches are simply better coaches. It’s not a race thing at all! In business you gotta make the move that makes you the most money. And if you succumb to hiring a minority coach simply because he’s a minority and then the team ends up doing abismal, the fans aren’t going to watch, which will affect revenue and ticket sales so it’s simply a business move. Stephen A has the job he has because he has out worked and out-performed his peers (most of which being white). So that’s what black coaches should do too!

Hiring a black coach because they are black, and making it a goal to hire black coaches is the epitome of racist. Just like it would be racist for there to be a goal to hire more white players because majority of players are black. These teams want to win I highly doubt they hire an inferior coach just because all the other better options are black. Maybe im wrong but I smell bs on this I think Flores was salty and now hes gonna have to pay the price, costed him a job with the texans its sad

Crying to hire more “minority” head coaches is just stupid. If they aren’t qualified to lead, they shouldn’t be hired just because they are hispanic, black, Asian…. That just sets up a team to fail. The best coaches always get hired (except Urban Meyer) 😂
