Royal Enfield Canada introduces the Royal Enfield Chrome Cafe Racer. To launch this motorcycle, Origin Motorcycles (distributors of Royal Enfield) produced this 60 second commercial (Spring 2012).

I think it both looks and sounds great. It does, however, desperately need to have some rearsets to complement the ergonomics.

You need to fabricate a rear-set for the bike ! The stock footpegs dont go with a cafe racer !

I don't think you would have a bike like this without a rice-grinder for everyday transport.
I hope the EFI engine has a roller big end bearing. Plain main bearings were the Achilles Heel of the old Indian & British Bullets, I found that out the hard
This bike needs a 'Goldie' (BSA Gold Star) exhaust or a reverse-cone megaphone to terrorize cage-drivers. Whether you want rearests is up to you.

Why would someone dislike it?...easy, its overpriced, has the power of a scooter, and the build quality is awful. Poor brakes, poor suspension. They are just cashing in on the cafe bike trend. You can buy an old japanese bike and make it look like this for 1/3 the price, and have a much better bike.
