A gentle sea breeze whispered quietly as our fingers interlocked, hand in hand, nothing but the two of us. Waves crashing and trees dancing intermingled into background sound. All that mattered was us, was him. I loved him. Tragedy struck that day, when he ate that forsaken carrot.

The way he eats is filled with such class..I feel nervous just looking into his eyes. Do I look good enough, I wonder? Is my suit as clean as I thought? Is my tie straight? Was my hair slicked and styled to his liking? All these insecurities ran through my head and as if sensing my unease he uttered one simple phrase..."eaugh"

My anxieties were quelled within that moment and I was able to relax and finish the rest of the night with him, the sunset feeling all the more beautiful as we ate our carrots whilst chatting the night away.
