"I concentrate on you" by Frank Sinatra & Tom Jobim.

This song was recorded in 1967 and was featured in the Reprise album "Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim".
Sinatra had already recorded this song multiple times. Once in 1947 for the Columbia album "Songs by Sinatra", and once again in 1960 for the 1961 Reprise album "Sinatra's Swingin' Session!!!".

I do not own the music.

The collaboration between Antonio Carlos Jobim and Frank Sinatra produced some of the best, smoothest musical sounds ever.

This whole album couldn’t be more perfect. It’s like Tom Jobim made a pitcher of caipirinhas for Frank, got him nice & loose, and let him sing. It’s damned near a perfect record.

Whenever skies look gray to me
And trouble begins to brew
Whenever the winter winds become too strong
I concentrate on you

When fortune cries "Nay, nay" to me
And people declare "You're through"
Whenever the blues become my only song
I concentrate on you

On your smile, so sweet, so tender
When at first my kiss you decline
On the light in your eyes when you surrender
And once again our arms intertwine
And so when wise men say to me
That love's young dream never comes true
To prove that even wise men can be wrong
I concentrate on you

On your smile, so sweet, so tender
When at first, my kiss you decline
On the light in your eyes when you surrender
And once again our arms intertwine
And so when wise men say to me
That love's young dream never comes true
To prove that even wise men can be wrong
I concentrate on you

Whenever skies look gray to me

Whenever the winter winds become too strong
I concentrate on you

When fortune cries "Nay, nay" to me
People declare "You're through"
Whenever the blues become my only songs
I concentrate on you

On your smile, so sweet, so tender
When at first my kiss you do decline
On the light in your eyes when you surrender
And once again our arms intertwine

And so when wise men say to me
That love's young dream never comes true
To prove that even the wise men can be wrong
I concentrate on you

I really like this. I didn't associate Sinatra with bossa nova.
Very romantic tune.

I bought two copies of this on LP when nit first came out because I knew that I would wear the first one down to nothing and I did. I replaced the second with a cassette and finally, the CD. I could listen to this endlessly and always find it fresh and seamless.

Composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim and sung by Frank Sinatra. These person's excellence have a greatest skills, talent and one of a genius creature in this planet. A very high level of intelligence when it comes to produced music. Both of these two person have extremely a good concept of music as a composer and as well a singer. Have extraordinary intellect, voice and outstanding mental capacity. As a writer he's the best, a singer one of it's kind. A gifted human being. I salute and respect both of them as well I loved their beautiful music. Amazing.awesome and gentle.

This is one of Cole Porter's best compositions.

That is my kind of song. One of a song I like, one of the best songs I loved; maybe in heaven God count me Frank Sinatra my ideal singer and me .We meet in Heaven some of a days somehow Lord God bless me because, this is my dreams and of these days; one day I am gone this beloved planet God grant me. My dreams, my heartfelt wish to him. I know and I believed God give me this, my only wishes and desires to meet the legendary singer; my favorite singer giving a chance and allow me to Duet Francis Albert Sinatra.
