I know all Home Fries already know how fabulous our guys are but I'm posting this everywhere. . Now on a note that tells how personally wonderful they are as people. I was supposed to see them in concert last night but the arctic storm hit and I couldn't go. I was crushed!! I'd been counting the days since they announced their concert. They posted a message on Instagram asking everyone to be especially safe coming to the show. I commented that unfortunately because of that damn storm my ride had to cancel and I couldn't go. They asked for my info and when I emailed it to them I got an email telling me they had added me to their guest list for the next time they're here. They are trying to help the fans who were unable to attend because of the weather. Most groups would just take the ticket money and say oh well. There is no group musically or personally better than HF. May we always be blessed with the beautiful music and phenomenal human beings that are Home Free! Very cool reaction. Enjoy the concert!!!

This song definitely had an old-timey, classical feel to it - reminiscent of the Perry Como, Andy Williams, Bing Crosby Christmas shows my parents used to watch when I was little. I appreciate both your recognition of the nice job they did with this song, and your honesty in your overall opinion. Each of their songs can't be your favorite out of all their songs, right? I hope you enjoy their show tonight, and I can't wait to hear about your experience!

Love this song, I’m a huge fan of Christmas music and the twist they put on this was awesome to me. Btw, I’ll be at the Stafford concert tonight! Beyond excited.

This is an old song, dating back to WWII so has been covered by A LOT of people and every single one does something different with it. I fact, this makes the 3rd performance by Home Free that can be listened to on YT. One is from their Home Free Christmas Vol. 1 (no video and before Austin, Tim and Chance joined the group) one from the Sing Off when they sang with Jewel and now this one. And each one is different. I like how they made it look like video from a small budget, local cable channel or news station studio. I like certain Christmas songs. There are some I turn off right away due to them being overplayed or just make me feel annoyed. This one was nice and brought back good memories for me relating to my mom, who loved this song by Bing Crosby.

Thanks for your reaction. They switched it up with a bit of jazz to keep things interesting, which is cool.

This so very awesome. Chance really showed his bass skills. Love your reactions!

The riff you didn't really like is reminiscent of the pseudo-jazz arrangements from the 1950s and 60s, which is the vibe I get from this whole video. Maybe Perry Como is on next. Ha! You will have so much fun at the concert. I saw them in Mankato a couple of weeks ago. Fabulous!

For somebody who apparently hates Christmas music, it seems rather silly to choose this time of year to see them in concert!! 😳 Oh, well. Hope you enjoy some of it anyhow.

Good for you, even wanting to do a reaction to this given your antipathy to Christmas music - and giving us an excuse to listen to it again. Not everyone does like Christmas music. Not everyone likes heavy metal or classical, either. Enjoy the concert and come back pumped up and 'full of joy'.

Appreciate your honest reaction. There are a number of Home Free songs and videos which don't appeal to me but still consider myself a Home Fry. I like Christmas music but don't really celebrate the season. This is a bit of an homage to the old variety shows some of us grew up watching many decades ago. Although male groups would've worn dress slacks and shoes back then. The matching sweaters are like one of those brain quizzes ('Can you find the one that's different'?). LOL Hope you have a great time at the Home Free show....make sure to post a review. Happy New Year!

I think it’s beautiful and they added some jazzy parts. Loved Tim and Austin’s solos and the soft sounds of Adam.

They sang this as a Christmas special show from like back in the 60s . Groups back then did the matching outfits, like the Temptations. Hope you had a fabulous time at the concert can't wait to see your review of it. HAPPY NEW YEAR

It's a song that came out in the middle of WWII so not being together for the Christmas holidays during the war was something that needed a sympathetic take.
The matching sweaters was a cute touch.
I don't know what you mean about the beginning?
Tim is a big "doo wop" fan so this is his favorite time period.
P.S. Did you know that Chance came from Street Corner Symphony? Just as Avi Kaplan is very tight with them and his bass player and tenor, Kaleb comes from there as well.

With their own twist to it, you managed to keep the atmosphere of the past!! I just see myself listening to this song again as a small child by the stove. In our house, it was Bing Crosby's performance. Later we also listened to Frank Sinatra's. And then Michael Buble's where I get that childhood sentiment. Well also with those of Home Free.
Compliments to Chance and his incredible bass

Pappy D !!! FINZUP BABY !!! 🐬🐬🐬 I know I know we've become once again "those same ol' Dolphins" but we aren't out yet !!! I knew I liked you, now I know why. I was season ticket holder from 1978 to 2009....now I'm just a couch potato on Sundays 🤣. But getting to the reaction, yes Chance killed the bass in this song...all the way through. This song was written for the 1942 iconic movie "Meet me in St Louis" starring Judy Garland...she sings the most famous version, but Home Free sure put their awesome stamp on it.
