King Shock Review - Bypass Shock Tuning Test #1

This is my first test run with the bypass shocks installed. 180PSI.

You need to increase the rebound a bit front and rear, also the compression on the front needs to be adjusted. Start with getting the rebound set up. You need to speed up the downward travel a bit. Once you get that dialled, then you can adjust the compression so you are utilizing all of your suspensions potential. Depending on how many stages your bypasses are, I would recommend adjusting your final stage to just keep from bottoming out, or, adjust the final stage to be more usable and get hydraulic bumpstops. The main issue I see with your current setup is the rebound. Your suspension isnt letting your axles return to full droop fast enough, making them hit the next whoop on the down stroke, versus riding into it. Set the rebound up and you will notice a huge increase in traction and smoothness. From there you can adjust the compression till you get it to where you like it

Rear end is pogoin...add a 1/2 turn on the rebound in rear.  Front looked good.

Have you weighed your truck?? 6400 pounds seems really high, being a 1/2 ton V8 Chevy extended can pickup truck is under 5k

Looked like you had low tire pressure in the left front. At least not equal to the right hand side. Big difference in how shock will perform with marshmellow tires vs aired up to correct pressure.
