Plenty of other singers have technical prowess and power, but to this day nobody has combined sheer beauty and sweetness of tone with such spectacular power and control the way Whitney did. The fact she also looked like a supermodel... well, it's safe to say she was destined for greatness. It is sad how things turned out for her long term but, regardless of that, her legacy of excellence is singing is assured for generations to come.

There was never a female vocalist like her before, and there probably will never be another ever again. Her astounding vocal range, her ability to vocally improvise on the fly, the fact that she could in a heartbeat go from the loudest, most powerful voice you have ever heard to the absolute quietest. She was one heck of a beautiful woman, physically, professionally, musically and who cares if towards the end, her life was becoming something of a train wreck! Her legacy will ALWAYS be her voice, and THAT, is the most important thing of all. Sadly, her one moment in time didn't last as long as probably we all wanted it to, but while she graced our world, her impact was more than SO many others who lived longer. RIP beautiful songstress. You will ALWAYS be sadly missed.

For the new Whitney film, I would have called it “One moment in time” and had this as the final performance before the end credits roll. I would have had Naomi Ackie recreate this performance in the final scene, transitioning the scene to the real Whitney at 5:16 for the final notes.

The lyrics are so apt to her life and career, and would have remembered Whitney at her best.

THIS Grammy version is the only, and I mean one and only version, that sets all other versions (albums and live) a part from the rest in light years. This Grammy version in my opinion is the best performance ever performed by a singer in the history of music. The people who were lucky enough to be in the audience and hear this live, saw history being made in front of their eyes. Can't listen and watch it with dry eyes.

I said so many times before, but when Whitney was on top of her game live, no matter who stood on stage with her, they couldn't match her, not in a million years not one singer out there. I truly think she was the greatest female singer of all time, particularly live and this is a prime example of this.
