I had the pleasure for a 15min audition only (booked by appointment) and I listened to “Tears for Fears” ‘Shout’ and still to this day I haven’t heard it like I did on that headphone. Truly a unique experience.

I could have sworn you said the same thing about the Warwick Aperio. In fact that it was even better than the HE-1.

I understand exactly how you feel. I listened to the HE-1s in the early 90s at CES in Las Vegas. The sound quality was incredible. So clean and pure, I was speechless. At the time the whole rig was $25k. I am surprised they are only $59k now.
