Actually, abetter method is to solve the eq. to get x²+bx+4=0. It is immediately clear that you can only factorise the eq. if the eq. is x²+4x+4=0, hence b=4. This process barely takes 5-10 seconds.

Dude since SAT is Digital just use desmos and use a graphing calculator for the b and slide it around to get a point of intersection.

Discriminant is 0 as equation has unique solution. So b square - 16 =0 and so b=4. Am I right?
