I've never been much of an Ozzy fan only because I just never really listened to him. This song is making me a fan!!!

Everytime you listen to Ozzy remember that he is one of the men that invented the genre metal and how amazingly f-ing huge that is.
And that he is the prince of darkness!!!
The day the world loses this man you will see a sorrow that the world has never seen.
Ozzy is a living legend, his voice and legacy can not be compared.
He has the whole world of metal music on his shoulders.
The world of music will NEVER again see a man like OZZY.

Ozzy is a massive Beatles fan, and you can hear the parallels musically with this song and the John Lennon song Imagine, all the way down to the verse where he sings "It would be nice if we could live as one". In an interview he mentioned that he would like the Beatles song "In My Life" played at his funeral. If you read the lyrics, I can see why. It's a very fitting song.

I grew up listening to his earlier stuff. He had a dark side, battled inner demons, something many of us related to as we fought our way through this life. I think he helped some of us reconcile the life battles we endured.
