Tom Basso is the actual and genuine face of a professional trader who knows where to draw the lines when it comes to trading and to view it not as some get-rich-quick kind of scheme, but to see it more as a journey, where you learn while you trade, enjoy while you trade and live your life in a healthy manner while you trade. Trading is definitely not meant to be seen as a 24/5 kind of manic race where you need to prove anything to anyone. It's all about control, psychology and moderation and definitely not about greed, competing or the need to prove anything. “Stereotypical trader chain smoking and stressed out”. I always thought the most successful day traders were the people who were relaxed, calm and confident and meditated and had great lives. Am I wrong? I was watching the tv show Suits the other day and they rented the extra office space to day traders and they really portrayed them as wild, rowdy, rude animals.
