To everyone with installer code problem. I struggled with installer code for two months since my electrician didn't have installer code and didn't get it. Finally I understood to change the land to Albania and then it didn't ask the installer code as compulsory.

After you successfully register it you can choose your own country and time zone and address so it is not a problem that you have chosen firstly wrong country. Finally it works!!! 😊

Hi! As many others here also have noted, the installer code can not be left blank. What code can I use, or what do I have to do to get a code? I`m an end user, so I guess I should not apply for an installer account?

This is a "missing manual". Unfortunately I received a faulty Shine WiFi dongle. With the help of this video I could prove it. Now I need to follow up with Growatt to get good dongle!! It is just out of box, so I expect it should be straight forward process.

It took me two days of resetting and trying again and again and again until finally it just decided to work. These devices are absolute rubbish when it comes to getting them on-line! For those asking about an installer code...this seems to be a UK account requirement? I just created a new account, and chose France as my home country. When it came to adding the datalogger, I chose the UK as the plant country.
I could never get to the local datalogger web page as in step 2. Not sure if they've pulled that functionality?
In the end...here's what worked for me: Reset device (long press of the button - MUST wait for the flashing red light). Tried the 2.4ghz method first. It failed. Next try the hotspot mode (had to short press the button to enter into hotspot mode again - blue LED)...bingo. I have no idea if that combination is what did it...but probably by fluke it worked. It does only work on 2.4ghz radios though. Most routers will be 2.4 and 5ghz combined so you shouldn't need to add a dedicated radio.

Is there any manual or instruction for using the ShinePhone software after it is successfully installed? I can't find anything available. The manufacturer's link to 'User Manual' is blank (no download).

When I click on the Dongle's "name" I get "Secured". It asks for a network key, which you didn't mention. ???HELP????

Hi I have 2 inverters one 5kw and one 2kw I have the 5kw one connected and and trying to add a data logger to the 2kw one do I need to set up a new plant or can I add the second logger to the same plant?
