Celebrate Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby at the same time.
How to make the Blackberry Mint Julep Margarita:
2 oz Añejo tequila
5 Blackberries
6 Mint leaves
1 oz Fresh lime juice
1 oz Honey syrup (1 part honey, 1 part water)
Garnish: 2 blackberries, 1 mint sprig
Glass: Julep cup
In a shaker, add all ingredients and muddle.
Add ice and shake.
Strain into a Julep cup over fresh ice.
Garnish with 2 blackberries and a mint sprig.
