It's very clever of Geodesics to have a mode that uses only octaves and fifths. It's late at night here and I could have got this wrong, but I think that means all the frequencies that come out of the ring mod are going to be simple overtones of either the main pitch or an octave below it, which keeps things from getting too dissonant. This is because fifths introduce a multiplier that is an integer multiple of 0.5, and the sum and difference of the two frequencies must also therefore be a multiple of 0.5. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong! However, it makes me wonder whether the interval they allow is an equal temperament fifth or not. If It's ET then you'd get slightly detuned results...

Very comprehensive and very illustrative, Omri, big thanx as always! And, BTW, do you have any plans to review XOR modules (some old and new ones) - many of them are quite "airtight" or should I say "hermetic" :)
