Nuuk, Greenland Day Trip: Boat and Bus Excursions (Senior Solo Travel)

On a cruise stop in Nuuk, Greenland, I maximized my touring by booking a morning boat excursions and an afternoon bus tour. This allowed me to see all the highlights of the area. Despite frequent rain, I enjoyed boating down the Nupp Kangerlua Fjord to see Sermitsiaq Island with beautiful waterfalls and floating icebergs. On the bus, we traversed the streets around and through the town to see picturesque views of the area. I especially enjoyed the colorful houses lining the shores.

For Senior and Solo travelers, Nuuk is a friendly and safe community. It is hilly, but it is easy to get transportation to the various sights.
