Apparently, Boruto got ticked off because his teacher (Shino), didn’t get much to any recognition for the things he did. And so to give him more recognition, he pretty much bribed an earth style user to put Shino’s up there

I like how the rocks in Naruto and Boruto sometimes change ever so slightly in every episode

For those of you who don't know, there are collectable cards and a game with the cards called "Shinobi bout" (basically like pokemon). Boruto collected most of the cards and realized that Shino wasn't in the packs despite being a powerful ninja, so he went to the president of the kaminarimon company (Denki's father) and asked that shino be put into the new release. Since kaminarimon is very fond of Shinobi, he agreed, but then metal Lee asked that rock Lee be put on instead. To settle the debate, Denki's dad put out voting stations for people to vote for which one they want in the new pack. Denki and metal Lee did campaigns for votes, and boruto and I think shikadai did the same. Shinos head was part of their campaign and was tore down by metal Lee trying to reassemble it into rock Lee and boruto changing it back until it was gone

That episode was based on trading cards and shino face was put there but lee's son turned shinos face into Lee's face
