KESKUS construction update January/February 2023

With the deep foundation work completed on the KESKUS International Estonian Centre site on Madison Avenue in Toronto, excavation around the heritage building is now underway. Underpinning of the heritage house that will be fully integrated and part of the KESKUS project is the next step in the critical path of construction. Once this building is reinforced, the foundation will be lowered. That basement will gorgeous when the walls and floors are replaced!
Check out the welding in the construction video - the wailers (the horizontal connectors between the shoring piles) are now completed too!

KESKUS International Estonian Centre in downtown Toronto will be a dynamic hub showcasing our rich heritage and promoting Estonian innovation. It will be a vibrant gathering place for Estonians of all generations and backgrounds to connect, celebrate, and share our culture and achievements with each other and the world.
