How Does Covid-19 Affect Disability Hearings?
Показать описание
With all of the changes from COVID-19, you may be wondering, what is going on with disability hearings?
You can now choose to have a disability hearing held over the phone, from the comfort and safety of your house.
At this time, the hearing offices are not offering in-person hearings due to safety concerns.
You can wait to schedule an in-person hearing once they are offered again.
No matter what type of hearing you choose, your attorney will be with you,
either in person or on the phone the entire time.
And whether you have a phone or in person hearing, the proceedings will follow the same process.
Keep in mind, there is currently no timeframe for when the COVID restrictions will be lifted, or when hearing offices will be open again
