I am 32 years old and my wife and I just finished all 26 episodes. We are in tears! Quite possibly the best animated story ever told! I remember reading the book as a child and never got the chance to finish reading it due to being a lazy reader and had to return it to the library. Tge moment I saw the title on amazon prime It immediately brought childhood memories so I knew I had to give it a shot and boy am I glad a saw it ! It is amazing! Please, see it, you will be transformed eternally!

I finally finished this series and I think it's a great contribution to the Ghibli studios! In fact I enjoyed it so much I bought the series. And so imagine my surprise when I found out the story was written by the same author of pippi longstocking which played a huge role in my childhood! I would love a season 2!

*I love this show! Makes me wanna go outside more! I am 11 years old. My iPad sometimes keeps me in my house. I already finished this show, but I still love it!!! I still watch it, I’m rewatching it! This is an amazing show. It’s teaching kids that nature is very beautiful and that you can have a lot of fun!!! This should get on Nickelodeon, or Disney XD, so it can teach kids to go outside more, but they just can’t ruin it. iPads, phones, laptops, computers, etc. are taking the mind of kids. They are brainwashing kids. People these days are more likely to stay in and play on their phone, iPad, laptop, etc. rather than to go outside and enjoy life. I have been staying in until now, I Like to go outside more! Do whatever you need to go outside and to have fun, and I mean like, get a bike, scooter, skateboard, skates, etc. just go outside!!!! The only time Phones helped kids go outside was when PokemonGo! came along!! It was still a bad idea, kids got hurt. I even played the game. Whenever we went to the park, so many people were there! Only because of PokemonGo! right when the game died though, I only saw old people. Don’t make the same mistake I did, and live life! I know I’m young and I have a lot coming to me, but, I’m still a kid, and I don’t want to spend my childhood on my iPad. I don’t want to be addicted, and I’m sure you don’t want to be addicted either! Life only comes once ya’ll. Use it wisely. 😉*
